Let hear it for...

No... not New York. Lets actually hear it for a more simple concept, one that New York just happens to epitomize: the city.


Every time people ask me why I moved to New York, I always tell them the same thing: I like living where the action is, where something is always happening, where life is not a short car trip away but rather a pleasant walk away. I love living in the center of things, with public transit to get me where I need to go when I am in a hurry, and a beautiful place to walk through when I am not. New York happens to be one of the best cities in the United States which is why I came here, but there are many cities around the world which hold the same aura of greatness about them and feel just as amazing to walk around in. So lets not hear it for New York, lets hear it for all the great city centers of the the world... London, Madrid, Tokyo, Paris, Berlin, Rio, Tel Aviv, Shanghai, the list goes on and on.
